Never been to a tabletop gaming club before? No worries! Here is everything you need to know about visiting Exploding Dice for the first time.
What to Expect
When you walk in, you will find a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Our members range from competitive tournament players to casual hobbyists who just enjoy a good game and a chat. Everyone remembers being new, and our community is always happy to welcome fresh faces.
What to Bring
- For Wargaming: Your army (if you have one), rulebook, dice, tape measure, and any templates you need. If you are just starting out and do not have an army yet, let us know – someone will likely have a spare force you can borrow!
- For Board Games: Just yourself! We have a library of games available, or bring your own favourites.
- For RPGs: Character sheets, dice, and a sense of adventure. Your Games Master will guide you through everything else.
Finding an Opponent
The best way to find a game is to use our Looking for a Game board on this site, or join our Facebook group and post what system you play and when you are available. You can also drop in on Wednesday or Thursday evenings – there is usually someone looking for a game.
